When you write a book, you internally hear the words in your own voice. You hear your
\ninflection, emotion, and the intensity of your feelings. But as my publisher plans to produce an
\naudiobook, I had to choose a \u201cvoice\u201d for my words.<\/p>\n
I could have recorded the entire book myself, of course, but I don\u2019t have a professionally trained
\nvoice, so I thought it best to select a voice from the publisher\u2019s voice library.<\/p>\n
How different it is to hear your words spoken by another. Is THAT how \u201cthe voice\u201d interprets my
\nwords? More than likely, AI is reading my words to me, but suddenly, AI becomes a partner in
\nthe process. AI doesn\u2019t have a personality, and yet, my words are assuming the personalities in
\nmy novel. My protagonist, Anne, is happy, perturbed, frustrated, excited, fearful, and all these
\nemotions come through. Amazing. I am excited to hear my words come alive through the voice
